Spouse Community Aarhus' mission is to empower and inspire new and long-term spouses to make the most of their life in Denmark, and the aim is to create an active, engaging and inclusive social and support community that connects experienced and established spouses with newcomers.

You could not pass Spouse Community Aarhus’ base at the opening of Aarhus 2018 – European Volenteer capital without the warmest greetings. The volenteers asked the visitors to write down something Danish, they think foreigners, and others who do not know Denmark well, should know about. Among the many suggestions were “flæskesteg” (Danish roast pork) and “blinkende lygter” (a Danish movie).
